Professor Marilyn Ball, Australian National University, Camberra, Australia. Dr. Ball has a vast experience in plant CO2 enrichment. She is one of the most reputed researchers in the field of low temperature plant ecophysiological responses from the timberline in Australia. She had experience working in warming responses of grasses in Macquary Island. She will help us to set up the OTC experiments in the field. She will also guide thesis and exchange students using the national system of fellowships. Our proposal considers resources for travel expenses and stay of Dr. Ball in Concepción, Punta Arenas and Antarctica. One visit the first year during the set up of field assays. We haven't had previous collaboration with Dr. Ball, therefore starting this collaboration will certainly benefit our Doctoral program and increase our academic exchange.
