First Announcement

We would like to invite you to the “XVII version of the International Colloquium on Plant Ecophysiology ” this will be held in Katalapi (Puerto Montt) between January 17 and 20, 2024. This event is a unique instance for graduate students, young and established researchers to share their scientific advances, in a relaxed environment, and conducive to the establishment of new collaborations.

As usual, this year we will have the presence of important international researchers on Plant Ecophysiology: Jaume Flexas (UIB, Spain), Claudio Pastenes (UCh, Chile), David Alonso (CITA Aragón, Spain), Marc Carriqui (CIFOR-INIA, Spain), Javier Gulias (UIB, Spain), Xisco Castanyer (UIB, Spain), Ignacio García-Plazaola (UPV/EHU, Spain) and Beatriz Fernández Marín (UPV/EHU, Spain).

The program will consist of conferences (30 minutes of exposure and 15 questions), mini conferences (20 minutes of exposure and 10 questions) and short communications (10 minutes of exposure and 5 questions). If you wish to participate by presenting a mini conference or short communications, send the Title of your presentation, authors and affiliations and indicate the type of presentation (mini conference or short communication) to patricia.saez@ufrontera.cl. Feel free to contact any of organizers if you have any questions.

Deadline for Applications: Submission of title, authors and affiliations will be received until December 01/2023. After consideration we will request an abstract.

Registration Fee CL$260,000, (Include lodging and meals from Wednesday 17 th dinner until lunch on Saturday 20th). It is possible to arrive earlier but at your own expense.

Few available registration fee waiver fellowships are available for graduate students
who present short communications!
