Between September 10 and 15, the “Plant Environmental Physiology Group Field Techniques Workshop” takes place in Lisbon, Portugal. Karina Acuña, Research Assistant of our group, is participating in this Workshop.

The Workshop consists of scientific lectures and hands-on training sessions delivered by world leaders in plant physiology and company representatives providing cutting edge plant physiology equipment, with a focus on early career scientists. The unique format of this event ensures broad coverage of topics, ranging from modeling photosynthesis, measurement of ecosystem-level fluxes, chlorophyll fluorescence, foliar gas exchange, soil-plant interactions and water relations.

The Workshop also includes poster sessions for attendees to present their work in front of the assembled scientists. Karina Acuña has successfully presented her work entitled “Do Colobanthus quitensis populations differ in their photosynthetic attributes along a latitudinal gradient? We congratulate Karina for participating in this interesting scientific event!
